Comment: No Strings Attached rocks! (Wonderland was a great musical too!) I have been listening to my cd so much I think that my family knows all the words by heart! I cannot wait to get up on stage with all the other actors and actresses. This is so exhilarating!

Dear Beth, and Betty, Jenna, Eric, too,

And Corey, Kelsey, Katie, Alison,

Plus Douglas, Andrew, Michael, Grant: the crew

Who pulled together this delightful show.

I thank you for the work you did this year

To lead and guide us all along the way

Or just to make us look good on the stage.

I know we needed you to help us out.

Upon the stage, she did direct our lines

Our truly fearless leader, aye, ‘tis Beth.

Advice she gave that I shall not forget:

“Speak slow and loud! Chin up! And face the front!”

Another on the stage let music ring.

Boomwhackers and our voices Betty led.

She sang, “My feet support my whole body,”

Whenever we forgot to stand up straight.

A third did lead us in a merry dance.

The gorgeous Jenna, choreographer,

With patience taught us how we were to move

In unison across the crowded stage.

Do not forget the artist, Mr. O

Who built the sturdy set we all enjoyed

And led the making, painting of the props

With smiles, laughs, and lots of elbow grease.

A master of the thread and cloth is next:

Miss Corey hid the fortnight in her cave,

But all her toil did bring forth good fruit:

The costumes that she made caused much delight.

And who could miss the epiloids we wore?

Miss Kelsey was the mastermind of those.

She slaved away for just one week and then

She left us for an artists’ camp ‘cross town.

Another helper good with needles came

Miss Katie also hid back in the cave.

She worked and laughed but could not see the show

She had to go have fun with other things.

Now every stage must have a manager,

And Alison did well fulfill that task.

The lights and sound did follow her command.

She led a game of sharks and minnows, too.

The stage left headset, tic-tac catcher, too,

And sometimes shusher, Douglas was a pal.

He kept the kids in line (at least, he tried).

Just don’t ask him to paint within the lines.

A theater dude was seen all ‘round the place

On just one foot, our Andrew did it all

Projection exercises, warm-ups, too.

He built some props; he showed us theater’s cool.

An aide to props and costumes, one could see

A laughing Michael having quite a time

Caught on camera sewing buttons on…

And twirling in a Cinderella dress.

A techie snuck onto the stage each show

For just one song, young Grant did join the cast

He had, for choir, rehearsals far too oft

To come on stage more often than he did.

As all can see, you people did it all.

Without you, there could not have been a show.

So once again I thank you for your work,

I’m off to write a chapter in my book.
