The Musical Misadventures of a Girl Named Alice
Based on the novel
Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll
Book by James DeVita
Music and Lyrics by Bill Francoeur
Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado
Join Alice as she travels through the Looking Glass and attempts to become a Queen in the Live Chess Game.
Wonderland! is a fantastic musical extravaganza which will have you dancing in your seat. You'll be entranced as Alice meets all sorts of fascinating characters -- a multitude of Chess Pieces, all singing the zany Jabberwocky poem and encouraging Alice on her travels. You'll jive to the calypso beat of the tourist train and tap your toes to the twang of Humpty Dumpty's country song (backed up by the Dixie Chickens, of course!); you'll laugh with Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum as they recount the tale of the Walrus and the Carpenter, and shake it up with the amazing gospel choir "The Responsibilities" as they guide Alice along her way. Will Alice make it to become a Queen? Is Wonderland real? Is it true that anything is possible?
There's a part for YOU in this show ~ whether you prefer the spot-light, the chorus, or something in between, this is your chance to shine and shimmer!
