Adventures in Acting aims to help actors find and maintain the joy in their work trough a professional, playful coaching.

When actor and acting coach Tom Sawyer started to find his voice in the acting world, he noticed he struggled to find one process or technique that fitted his approach. Instead of recommending dozens of books shouting different kinds of advice to the aspiring actor he realised he needed to turn to actors themselves and ask them more and better questions to help them on their journey.
Adventures in Acting was born out of this need to make coaching accessible to all actors regardless where they stand in their creative journey by simplifying the actorā€™s process and developing methods for the actor to unlock their own path towards useful and healthy acting technique.
Adventures in Acting is based in London, UK and we work with actors around the world.

Tom Sawyer has worked as an actor and acting coach for over 20 years.
In addition to leading Adventures in Acting, heĀ isĀ consistentlyĀ teaching at institutions such as Mountview Academy, Actors Temple, International School of Screen Acting, Actors Academy Finland and many more.
